Today was very restful. I enjoyed the hospitality of the Copper Queen. The day started with a hearty breakfast, then the grocerey, then a badly needed trip to the laundromat. I also made some phone calls and watched some TV. I feel well-rested and ready to go tomorrow.
Andy, I'll bet it is hot riding in such exposed conditions. What really helps is to wet all your clothes down, get wet to the skin and wear them until they dry. Evaporation is a great coolant. It is even better to wear long sleeves and long pants so your whole body is covered and you will be cool until you are dry. Cindy Koether
I am Andy French. This summer I am cycling across the country. On Wednesday, May 19, I fly to San Francisco, California. I will return some time after that. This blog will be a record of the trip that people can look at. However, I am not sure how regularly I will be able to update it.
